An aircraft flying above a well-attended coastal beach abruptly began spiraling uncontrollably, finally losing altitude and smashing into a line of palm fronds as spectators observed.
Footage uploaded on social media depict the chopper commencing to spiral near the beach then descending near the edge of the shore, where it ends up lodged between palm trees and a staircase adjacent to the coastal road.

Emergency responders stated five persons were rushed to the hospital comprising a pair who were in the chopper and were “rescued from the debris” following the accident on the weekend.
Three people on the pavement were injured. Information on their condition were not immediately available.
